Service overview
Tollgates Pay forwards your card payment to a regulated payment processor that operates on the checkout.tollgatespay.com subdomain. We do not store full card numbers, CVV codes or three-digit security values on our servers — only the order reference, masked PAN (last four digits), the plate details you submitted and the timestamp of the transaction.
The two main flows on this site are the recharge form (three steps from amount to confirmation) and a free read-only balance lookup. Both share the same plate selection logic, so you only have to learn the form once.
Who can use Tollgates Pay
Eligibility is straightforward — if your vehicle has an active Salik account linked to a UAE plate, you can run a salik recharge here. The dropdowns cover all seven Emirates, all standard plate categories (Private, Motorcycle, Taxi, Public Transportation, Export, Government, etc.) and the full set of plate codes, including specialised codes used in Abu Dhabi (AD 1 through AD 22) and Sharjah (SHJ 1 through SHJ 4).
Required information
- Your UAE mobile number (we use it only for the order reference and SMS confirmation).
- The Emirate, category, plate code and number registered to the Salik account.
- The recharge amount in AED — preset values of 50, 100, 150, 200 or any custom amount.
- A Visa or Mastercard for the actual payment, entered on the secure checkout subdomain.
What we don't do
We don't issue Salik tags, we don't sell stickers, and we don't provide customer service for traffic fines or related Roads & Transport Authority products. For all that, drivers should reach out to Salik directly. Tollgates Pay does only one thing — online salik topup with structured plate selection.
